In addition, he has been involved in continued dental education for more than two decades. Today, Dr. Iglhaut is a national and international speaker in the fields of implant dentistry, periodontology, plastic periodontal surgery and periodontal microsurgery. He also teaches as a lecturer and is a research associate at the University Hospital of Freiburg. From 2012 to 2015, Dr. Gerhard Iglhaut was President of the German Society of Implantology (DGI) – the largest scientific implantological association in Europe for three years.
